Painting Update - Grrrr!

Frustration at its best! Painted - but then washed away

It's Friday, and the floor painting is still not done! It's starting to get a little frustrating now.

I went out on Tuesday morning and tried to finish the job as it looked like it would stay dry. It looked great, for a while, then it rained again, and didn't stop until today.

Much of the paint got washed away (or severely 'thinned',) including the dark area you can clearly see in the picture where I made the repair to the patio.

White 'painty' puddles have been sat everywhere making it impossible to physically step outside into the garden without getting wet paint on the bottom of my shoes.

Today it's been dry(ish), but there are still a few wet patches, although I can at least walk out there in places. I've finally learned my lesson, and have decided to hold off any further painting until we have at least two days of dry, sunny weather.
