Hi Rick
Update for July, I decided to pull my shallots yesterday, that’s the £1 bag from Poundland (12 in the bag) out of those 12 bulbs I managed to get about 70 individual shallots…..not bad for a pound.

Everything is growing like a madman at the moment and the cherry toms are giving us a bountiful harvest yet again, I will send you some seed for next year when I start saving them.

French and runner beans are starting to set and we have managed a couple of pickings.
The Mange Tout are now turning into peas and it’s difficult to eat them all……but we try.

Pak Choi have all gone to seed and the Swiss Chard are starting to go the same way, not sure I will be growing either of those next year but I like to try things I haven’t grown before.

First time I’ve grown Leeks and I’m really pleased with the progress they have made and am looking forward to a good crop.

See you next month
Mick
