Your hosepipe may not be as safe as you think it is

I've just stumbled across some really useful and shocking information about buying a hose pipe. Apparently, many of the designs contain LEAD! I don't know in what quantities, and frankly I don't care! I don't want to be watering my garden using a hose pipe that will be leaching and depositing lead onto the food that I will be eating!
